The landscape of your life

 

Have you ever thought about the landscape of your life? At this moment, if you are asked to paint the landscape of your life, what will it contain?

This is a very interesting and informative activity you can do, with hardly 10 minutes of you time. You won't believe how much self discovery you can do with this!

Imagine your landscape just the way it is right now. Get a detailed description of it, either in painting or in writing or in your imagination. Does it have a scenic uphill path that will get you to the top of a mountain and reward you with heavenly delughts? Does it have a fountain of water representing peak health, or is it a shallow stream? Does it feel like a deserted bylane that leads you nowhere? Does it contain a beautiful pair of swans that represents a happy relationship, or a bunch of swans that represent strong friendships and family, or just a lonesome swan looking around for company? Does it picture you as a weary traveller burdended with worries, or as a lighthearted trotter with no responsibilities, or as a happy, wise and high-vibration individual with a healthy dose of responsibilities, goals and fun?

Now imagine the landscape that you would like to be in. One with scenic tracks up a mountain, or pleasant and secure valleys with flowers, and bunches of swans and your own special swan, and peak health gushing out of strong fountains. Imagine the vivid details. Add your own elements, with your own symbolism.

Now think about the journey from one landscape to another. This is the journey of your life. Are you ready to get going, or are you stuck in your old landscape? Think about the ways to transform your landscape. Find swans of your own feather to flock with. Get into your peak health and add that fountain. Find a goal and climb uphill with passion and energy.

Remember, the landscape of your life changes daily. If one day you find yourself in rough terrain, have heart. It will surely pass over. You can add happy elements to your rough terrain, by re-inforcing your relationships, spreading some love, doing something unexpected and nice for someone, exercising, reading good books, meditating to increase your vibration, letting go of past guilt and resentments etc. Get creative and transform your landscape today!
